Safe-Sea is a super premium blend of green lipped mussels and ahiflower oil that’s sustainable, pure and never heat processed. It’s more complete than fish oil and more sustainable.
- Supports healthy joints: Green-lipped mussels contain a unique Omega-3 fatty acid not found in fish oil called ETA. This omega-3 fat is known for its ability to support a balanced inflammatory response, which is especially beneficial for dogs with joint issues.
- Broader range of fatty acids: While fish oil primarily offers EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), green-lipped mussels provide over 30 fatty acids, plus the ahiflower is one of the best sources of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) and SDA (stearidonic acid) to support healthy skin and immune function.
- Better bioavailability: Unlike fish oil, the omega fats in green lipped mussel oil are encapsulated in phospholipids. Phospholipids easily merge with cell membranes and protect the fats from oxidation, so a higher amount of beneficial fats reach your dog’s cells where they’re needed.
